Announcing Transitions & an Exciting Opportunity at GIA

Today, Grantmakers in the Arts (GIA) announces a significant transition within our team that reflects both growth and new opportunities. After six dedicated years of service, Sherylynn Sealy will be departing from her role as Senior Program Manager to pursue an exciting new chapter in her life. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for her valuable contributions and wish her every success in her next journey. Sherylynn will be formally departing GIA as of March 1, 2024.

Simultaneously, we are thrilled to announce the promotion of Jaime Sharp into the role of Program Manager. Jaime has been an integral part of our team, demonstrating astute skills and thoughtfulness as GIA Communications Manager. We are confident that their strategic mindset, strong leadership, and passion for our mission will bring a fresh perspective within the program manager role. We look forward to growing with Jaime in this new capacity and are excited about the positive impact they will undoubtedly make.

As we navigate these changes, we are actively seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as our new Communications Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about racial equity and justice in the arts, possesses excellent communication skills, and is eager to contribute to our mission.
